Emakina launches in Sweden with 4 new clients and a Eurocup event

Rising Swedish digital communication agency Dempsey now becomes Emakina.SE. The company is the youngest member of Emakina Group, an independent European full-service digital agency group with over 700 experts. Rebranded as Emakina, the team kicks off the summer as lead agency for new Swedish and international clients and an exciting project in Stockholm for Expekt, celebrating the Euro 2016.

From Dempsey to Emakina.SE

Started six years ago, Dempsey is a multi-disciplinary talent team managed by serial digital entrepreneur Joel Wahlström, Client Director Erika Vestman and Commercial Director Richard von Yxkull. The digital and marketing expert line-up of 16 experts became part of Emakina Group in January and fluently integrated the European group, managing clients across the Nordics.

From digital agency to lead agency

Besides its excellent track record in digital communication, Dempsey recently won international acclaim for its Tele2 Eurovision Song Contest app. The new Emakina.SE agency will now take the lead in 4 newly won accounts delivering everything from company branding to cutting edge digital solutions:

  • Expekt.com: Re-launch of the iconic Swedish betting brand;
  • Aquavit Restaurants: global rollout of new high end restaurant chain;
  • Refunder: the Bonnier Growth Media backed Swedish start up;
  • Talkpool: the newly IPOed Swiss/Swedish Telco working in Internet Of Things.

Emakina and Expekt, a fun bet for Euro 2016

The new Emakina agency kicks off the summer in style. With betting agencies competing for attention around the Euro Football Championship, the team created a spectacular event campaign for Expekt, uniting football fans at Norrmalmstorg in the heart of Stockholm. The Vau de Ville French bistro in this central square will be the place to be to celebrate the Euro 2016. Fully rebranded by Emakina in Expekt design, it will host a series of fun happenings around the games, up to the final on July 10.
